Day 12

Day 12: A hangout in Wallace, Idaho with my friend Jeff. I explored the old town and fell in like with it! It’s super historical and rather fun and alive, which was neat. Jeff lives in a studio above some shops. I enjoyed the simplicity of him and his apartment. We got along great! I went to Excelsior Cycle in Kellogg and the owner was a friendly guy that ended up fixing everything for free, “pay it forward” he said. After the rain came through and the cold. I watched a high school homecoming pep rally in the downtown streets, was unlike anything I’ve seen. There is so many antique shops, thrift stores and museums! Plus a few bars, a winery and a brewery! I had dinner and beers at a local saloon and grill, was delicious clam chowder! Just right for the cold. Heading out in the morning. Gear is on now just waiting on Jeff, we’re going up the pass and then I’m flying down Montana today! Missoula tomorrow!
