We continued cycling north through a valley which rose to a very hot desert. The weather was very welcomed in the desert. Since time was short with our guide we loaded up the bikes and drove about 200 miles to the ancient city of Fez. Abraham’s friend gave us an excellent walking tour of the 9th century walled old town Medina. What a fascinating and invigorating walk among the 350,000 residents! Everything that the residents need is produced in the Medina.
Tomorrow will be our last day with Abraham. We will then cycle north to Spain.
