We will start our ride Tuesday

The last two entries I forgot to add about two marriage offers for Jocelyn. On Valentine’s Day a young guy asked me “How many camels for your daughter?” As I looked at him puzzled he said “Two Lamborghini’s?” The next day in the Atlas Mountains while at the market an old guy came up and said “50,000 camels for your daughter.” I imagine it would take a lot of money to take care of 50,000 camels so I said no!

Jocelyn drew this cartoon after the first night. The first pane shows what she thought was someone at our bikes next to her bed. She finally gets to sleep around 7!

Like Florida Morocco is known for its excellent citrus. We explored a garden area and two of the best glasses of OJ ever. $ US .42 each.

After we reassembled our bikes I tried to get rid of the boxes and other trash. It rained hard last night and I believe the box was put on the roof to slow a leak.

In the main market square there are several tented eating places in competition. The menu is all the same. Many people try to drag you to their tables. It really is fun to talk with these people. The guy next to Jocelyn was the nicest of them so "won" our business. Two skewers of shrimp, a grilled vegetable plate, 2 circular loaves of bread, a bowl of delicious lentil soup, a Sprite, and two cups of mint tea, Plus lots of entertainment = $ US12.

New town Marrakech. The moped drivers are ridiculous and don't follow any traffic rules, if there are any.

We walked several miles to the Azima Market to look for wine. While picking out a bottle of French wine a lady asked us why not Moroccan wine. We did not know that there was local wine. She managed a local restaurant and selected for us 3 of her favorite wines. They were about $ US 8 each. us

This will be our new route. We will have a guide riding a SAG van while we cycle some very beautiful and interesting areas of Morocco. We will stay away from the coast which is more touristy.
