Day 6/7/8: Four Seasons Campground-Willow Springs Station, Cheney, WA. 38 miles. 3 hrs.
I had such a lovely time meeting Scott and Janie, the owners of the Four Seasons Campground in Sprague, WA. We enjoyed much conversation and Janie made me a delicious breakfast! Scott recommends taking the road beside the train tracks and so I did. It was definitely very rough though and I in fact ended up walking part of the way into the small town of Sprague. It was rather fun though and I have never ridden next to a train as close as I did! Sprague was a very old time town, it was fun to cycle through and feel all the original downtown and also the old cars parked all over was rather neat! I quickly got caught by the west winds and was literally on a roll, haha! I got into Cheney, a small college town. Eastern Washington University is where a very good friend of mine is going so I ended up hanging around there for two days. We had a lot of fun! I got to shower too, after four days man did I stink! I enjoyed hanging around Willow springs station, the restaurant and lounge were fun and I made many friends. It was hard to leave!
