Sunrise from our cabin. We took a trip up the coast of Abel Tasman on the local water taxi. This is known as the split tomato.
A male fur seal marking his territory. We saw lots of seals and penguins. This depicts what part of the coastline looks like.A big rock!
We were dropped off in a bay…where we had lunch on a rock. We do have some interesting lunches.
We then hiked south 3 hours to another bay.The coastal hike was beautiful.Jocelyn leading the way.
An occasional nice view of the water.
Pretty fern.Maximum of 5 people at one time on the swaying bridge. It was really moving too! This is the bay we hiked to. The water taxi picked us up at 4. Right after that the rain hit hard.Jocelyn surfing a tree. What a nice day. Back at camp we cleaned up and cooked soup for dinner. We will sleep well tonight. I am still trying to figure out our next route to the west coast. Accommodations are few before Westport on the west coast. Our water taxi route. After traveling to the northern end of the park we were dropped off on the way back at Bark Bay then picked up in Torrent Bay.
