After suffering an illness for the past few years my father took a turn for the worse. I talked with him several days ago and was going to visit him before this trip started but he was very insistent that we get on our bikes and “keep the wheels going around… I’ll be with you all the way.” His condition deteriorated more so we found a storage unit in Port St. Joe, Florida, stored the bikes and got a ride to Panama City Airport. We were able to get a flight out to California within a few hours. He passed away two hours before we landed. The adventure will continue on September 27th.
