A few scenes from Florence

We spent the day playing tourists along with thousands of others on this beautiful Saturday. Before that we visited the central train station and purchased 2 tickets to Venice, Italy for tomorrow. We figure this 160 mile train trip will save us about three days. Our family is meeting us in Turkey, early June so we need to get moving over the Alps, into Slovenia, to Austria then start our journey south. We have 6 weeks and hope that that is enough time.

  1. The architecture is so impressive and I know that Chip spent a school year there studying this wonderful country. I am happy to see these areas and know that I will venture there sometime. I am waiting to hear about the train ride and your adventures in Venice! Love always, Andee
