An afternoon walking around Monaco.

Monday April 7, 2014 Ludovic and Marisol drove us a mile to Monaco and dropped us off to explore this tiny country or principality as they took their 19 month old daughter to a playground.

After a few hours they picked us up then took drove us touring the towns after Monaco and a quick trip to Italy then to a delicious seafood restaurant. We decided to take a break day today, Sunday, as we have not been off our bikes for 12 days. Ludovic and Marisol are wonderful hosts.

Tomorrow we ride into Italy!

The local park with no walking allowed on the grass. The entire rich country was nice to look at but I prefer Cape Canaveral.

  1. ps We drove a deuce and a half truck with a portable tropo shelter around Monaco.
    That was a trip!!

  2. Pictures remind Judy and I of our time in Europe. You’re not too far from Finale Ligure.
We had a tropo scatter site on the mountain behind the town relaying comm across the Alps into Germany and across the water to Livorno, Italy. Don’t imagine it’s anything like it was in the 60s, but it is a nice ride along the French and Italian Riviera. Enjoy.
