Our best Mexico riding day yet!

Saturday August 8, 2015, 47 miles (76 km) – Total so far: 10,005 miles (16,102 km)

We left San Quintin under a cloudy sky and nice tailwind. Soon we were riding near the coast and finally enjoying less traffic and a nice temperature drop from 110 to 90 F. Then we turned inland into the mountains with fun climbing since we had the lane. We climbed into the town of El Rosario where we are spending the night before we enter a long stretch in the desert with what we are told a lot of nothingness. Hence this quick post as we don’t know when wifi will be available again.

I really like cactus. I also posted lots of cactus pictures from our Southern Tier ride in 2011.
