Scenes from Mexico City

Tuesday September 15, 2015

We have been having a great time in Mexico City exploring the city’s museums, numerous bike shops for parts, and excellent food. We can’t believe we are here for the 205th anniversary of Mexico’s independence from Spain. What a crazy city party. We have never seen anything like this and it is just beginning tonight.

One of Jocelyn's panniers tore so after much walking and asking around we found the repair guy. Cool sewing machine.

He's the man and was very busy. He charged us 20 pesos about $1.20.

We took a long taxi ride looking for two bike shops many miles from us. Little did we know that close to us are two blocks of bike shops.
