June 14, 2014 Our week at a resort in south Turkey has ended and we are busy getting ready to visit a few embassies next week in Istanbul. We are also going through all of our stuff again as my wife Andee brought out more. We are replacing clothes, a charger we lost, and a few other things. The rule is for each new item we carry we must get rid of a similar item.
The week has been wonderful spending time with family, visiting the ruins in Didmya Apollo Temple, and the old cities of Priene, and Ephesus. We have been totally fascinated exploring the people, architecture and culture over 3,500 years old.
Swimming every day in the Aegean Sea has been wonderful too. Depending on how visa work goes we hope to continue our journey next Friday.
We do have lots of interesting times when we are together. This year has a few exceptional memories of shared pleasures and I hope to recall these days in Turkey as some of the best! Thank you for slowing down and walking for a few weeks. I have earned some sweets traversing the hills of Istanbul. Really an amazing place. Love always, Andee
