Jocelyn has been having problems with her derailleur shifting. The guy at the bike shop noticed that the chain was routed improperly. It still somewhat worked but has been very noisy and jumping around. The chain should be above the metal piece in the middle of the picture.

A couple from Connecticut with their young son Beckett recommended this delicious dish. The shrimp was 195 pesos or about $12. We split one and it was plenty.

It was wonderful. They went fishing this day and the restaurant cooked Beckett's fish. We enjoyed it too thanks to this fine family. We had the shrimp dish which included this cactus. We have eaten many popular dishes around the world. This was one of our favorites.

Queen of the Sea
by Monica Gutierrez de Kiy

Where upon the Earth She was born,
Peace reigns in Silence; The Queen of the Sea
Guards her aquarary – an undying treasury –
Her marine oasis of seaweed and salt water;
And welcomes within her own hands
The fishes which do gather.

The Queen of the Sea keeps her vwatch upon the passings
Of the boats which come, The boats which go,
The furtive kiss of foam and tide;
And in Silence whispers forth New Law:
That no one despoil the Dwelling of Whales,
That no one dare come upon the Mermaids,
And at the birth of each morning he remember
The Earth
Which repeats the miracle Of the very creation of life..

This isn't an aquarium. We are swimming in the bay with these wild very gentle sharks.

Almost touching the shark. This is a sport as one must be able to swim very fast to try and stay with the shark. At any moment it may turn and head towards you. Kind of scary as you must then move quickly away from the shark's massive feeding head.

We dove with 6 meter and 10 meter sharks. They have gills unlike a regular whale mammal.

Today we met Julian from Seattle and Greece. He moved here a few months ago and works with the school district to make sure the English teachers are teaching it correctly in school. Super nice guy. Thanks Julian.

We met two motorcyclists early on in Baja. John took this picture of us on a break and emailed it. We really like hearing from people we have met on the road.
