A few more desert pictures from Jocelyn and a few from Antofagasta and 20,000 miles!

Thursday May 5, 2016

I have updated our world mileage summary. This ride consists of three trips: America, New Zealand, and from Morocco to now Chile.
On April 25th we surpassed the 20,000 mile mark for all three combined! This is over a period of 25 months of cycling. In between this has been contract work (two winters) in Antarctica along with a few months at home.

We have had to do this a few times while in major cities. It is really tough to stand a bike on end and navigate to your floor.

Latin America has lots of casinos. I was surprised. We haven't stepped foot into a single one although we were tempted in Monaco at James Bond's famous Monte Carlo Casino. We were in shorts and there was a strict dress code. Plus our "vehicles" didn't come close to the ones being parked there.
